Privacy
Last updated 20 September 2026. This is a publisher’s notice, not legal advice.
Watch24.tv is a directory of news websites, organized by country and territory. It is operated from the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, extra rules apply to analytics. Those are listed under Europe, UK, and Switzerland.
Who is responsible
The controller for this site is Watch24.tv. Privacy questions: use the Contact page.
What we collect, and why
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not sell a subscriber list.
- Server logs. Date, page requested, browser type, and a network address. Used to run and secure the site. Legal basis where GDPR applies: legitimate interests (keeping the site up).
- Audience measurement (Google Analytics). Used to see which pages are used. Legal basis in Europe: consent.
- Messages you send. Through the contact form, or email if you write us. Used only to reply. Legal basis: consent, or taking steps at your request. We do not sell those messages.
Who else sees it
Google LLC (United States) receives data for Analytics. News headlines send you to other publishers; those sites have their own practices. Hosting is on ordinary web servers in the United States.
Transfers to the United States rely on Google’s participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on Google’s published terms. Details: policies.google.com/privacy.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. Emails are kept as long as the conversation is active, then as ordinary business mail. Google sets its own retention for analytics; you can review that in Google’s policies and in your browser settings.
Europe, UK, and Switzerland
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, analytics is not strictly necessary to read the pages. That tool needs a clear yes before it runs. You can refuse. Refusing does not block the news directory.
Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If those laws apply to you, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, to restrict or object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy of data you provided. You may complain to your national data protection authority (for example the ICO in the UK). Use the Contact page (choose Privacy). We will need enough information to find your request; we do not run user accounts, so we may hold little or nothing beyond an email you sent.
Children
This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for accounts or marketing.
Cookies in short
- Needed to deliver the page: none beyond ordinary browser/session use.
- Analytics (Google): set only with consent where the law requires it.
